Are you melted yet?
We have been in a intense period of melting down. Like a metal-smith getting material ready for creation. We have been heated and heated and heated, until all that was solid is now liquid. We sit in the moment right before the pour. When the heat is most intense and everything is a hot mess. The crucible is glowing red. It is time to check the mold we are pouring ourselves in to and make sure it is what we want to become. Embrace and enjoy the limitations of form that we need in order to stand strong in this time. Find the joy in the container. Because we are about to become something new. It is spelled out in the planetary cycles in this way: Astrological sentence 1: Antares the fixed star in the heart of Scorpio is in conjunction with Saturn and Mars. This star is one of the 4 winds that allow us to know where we stand in the universe. It is the direction that Archangel Uriel makes home. Uriel is in charge of the foundations of existence. With Mars and Saturn help these foundations are being changed. This is the continued melting. The only antidote is surrender. Astrological Sentence 2: Saturn Square Neptune On the Nodes of the moon The universe is asking us to examine the fundamental structures of our life and revision it. Check the vital states. Practical steps for bringing in vision. Astrological Sentence 3: Sun, Moon and North Node in opposition to Neptune square Saturn WY. Eclipse Windows happen twice a year opening a potent moment that will flavor the next 6 months. The key players of this eclipse window play out in the Virgo/Pieces axis. Big time Virgo. Focusing this time on bringing order and organization, out of the Chaos. Cleaning up this mess in a Sirius (serious) way. The only antidote is to not take it all so serious. It is only death of all that you know after all. This is a North Node solar eclipse. Which means the energy that is opening up is focused on where we are heading our souls journey. The feeling of so much Virgo energy is very self critical. Virgo wants to bring heaven to earth. Yet is disgusted by the messiness of all this humanness. Let the irritation motivate you to clean up your act, life, health, etc. Do not throw the baby out with the bathwater. It is Really easy to see what is wrong. It is hard to make the effort to make it right. Astrological sentence 4: Mercury conjunct Jupiter opposing Chyron at the moment of eclipse. The next 6 Month will be a time of expanding our perceptions of what is. Expanding the boundaries and understanding of where we have the most potential to transform our wounds into strength.

2016 Saturn and Neptune Square both Retrograde. Started in November turned up the volume and both planets retrograde in June. Venus opposition to Pluto and square to Uranus that is strong until mid-July We have some truly irritating energies going on in the cosmos. We are being asked to learn a new way of being or we cease to be. This is a continuation of the birthing a new world we all chose to be here for. A universal riptide energy asking us for a continued tearing down of existing structures, all the way to the foundations. Questioning our ideals and visions to prove themselves worthy. In our current society it is very hard to allow ourselves to be in sync with the universal energies allowing for the out breath, allowing for death, allowing for periods of time of backward motion. We are constantly expected to be in full bloom, inhaling, moving forward, this is not how nature and the universe works. In order to be in harmony we breath in and out. we live in the cycle of life. The feeling of the universal energies clashing with our society is an incredibly irritating sensation. What to do? Trust yourself and the universe enough to allow yourself time to look where you are asking yourself to look. Trust that you will survive even if you die. Release!Release! Release! All the way- allowing yourself to be empty for a moment before the rebuilding begins. What is returned to you after complete surrender is your truth. Trust it. We must be willing to move everything now. I have worked for many years incorporating energetic healing work with body work. As a result, I have become a body interpreter. My role is often to give the message that the soul is trying to tell you through your body. This is often not a comfortable role, because if it has manifested as pain and disease in the body, generally it is something you really do not want to hear. Of course, there are times that you just overdo it and hurt yourself, but if it does not heal right up, you can be sure it is a message. Louise Hay has wonderful resources on the subject. I have observed the universal pockets of pain and the individual ones. I observed that when I pay a lot of attention to the political climate, I get pain under my armpits. On me, I thought this was hysterically funny; thinking that is a great place to keep them and proceeded to give them an energetic eviction notice, moving the energy and shifting my focus. Working with others, I do not find it funny. So many of us suffer from environmental and sociological depression. Knowing in the depths of us that we are here to help heal the mess. This shoulder armpit pain is a hopeless feeling. Knowing that there is so much to be done yet being unable to do anything to change the situation. It is sad. It is collective. This pain begins in the sub scapula and over time radiates through the whole shoulder and heart and locking up the neck and throat. Its message is simple, “you are powerless to change the things you came here to change.” It is inherently linked into our economic system and cultural structures. We each have a personal story that is part of the collective one. Why am I telling you this? Just to make you hyper aware of your pain that many accept as never-ending? No, Of course not. I am bringing this to your conscious awareness so you can begin to unwind it. To begin to engage this work you might hold the idea that you must do it alone; that is the key to shifting this pattern. U.S. society is so focused on self and “the one” who will come and save us all, we unconsciously accept this as true. So when our soul gives us a huge assignment we immediately think we have to do it alone. Add in some trust issues and you have a perfect recipe for stuck energy. In case you have not noticed, stuck sucks. So let's begin with the truth as I see it. You are important. Everyone of us. Not doing what you came here to do is pointless. We all came here to interact and be of service in some way to each other, to plants, ecosystems, animals, microbes, communities, children. What part you are to play is for you to know, but I assure you that you have a part. We often think our part is not important and poo-poo it as insignificant. Stop that. The idea we must do it alone is the dream killer, the passion slayer. Yet we are so indoctrinated and fearful of each other that we do not even know how to admit what it is we truly want to do let alone have the courage to do it. To untangle those shoulders start by answering the question, " What do I really want to do?" You have to make your inner critic sit in the corner when asking this question. Otherwise your answer will immediately be killed off by your critic. Do not think that it will be only one thing, but do focus on one thing at a time. Do not make the mistake of thinking you must go out and do your own thing in order to fulfill your soul's purpose. For some that is true. For others working within established systems and working to make change from within is the way. Assume nothing. Allow yourself to be surprised by the answers that come. Once you get your answer the next question is, "Who is going to be on my team?" You do not need to be right. People may or may not show up, but this question is the antidote to the idea you will be alone. The next question is, "What is the first (or next) step?" Make a list and begin. Asking these questions will bring up fear and activate all kinds of self sabotage. Just so you know... Do it anyway. I know it is easy for me to say and actually doing it is a big deal. Here is a little haiku to make it seem easy. Working together as one. What seems impossible becomes easy We can lift any load Several people have asked me, what is the astrological synastry of 5 planets retrograde at the same time? As I sat with the question the clarity came in two words - Vision Quest.
As we have been living through this time of turning over, we have reached the point of no return. We have been born into a new earth where we are infants terrified of our own shadow and unable to know which way is up. Now we must learn to grow the new bones of our society. In order to do this we must come to stillness and clarity. Pausing forward motion for a bit. Each of the planets interacting are saying this in a different way. In the language of the universe it goes something like this; Astrological sentence 1: Jupiter square Saturn trine Pluto all three retrograde. This paints a picture of a time when the universe asks us to fearlessly retreat into ourselves for a good long planning session. Bring forward the inner architect to vision this project that is life. Seeing its completed form, then to reverse engineer it. Planning to execute over years, decades, or centuries. Prying up the floor boards of our subconscious mind, and shining a light on our demons. Asking us to redefine what it is to be the authority. The hero's journey that leads to becoming your own authority. Clarifying and weeding out any places that are not in right relationship. Jupiter Retrograde- In Virgo- January 7th, 2016, May 9th, 2016 Saturn Retrograde- In Sagittarius March 25th, 2016, August 13th, 2016 Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn April 18th, 2016- January 16th, 2017 Astrological sentence 2: Saturn retrograde as the focal point of the t square of Jupiter retrograde opposing Neptune. This is a time when great inspiration can come through and actually become reality. If it does not immediately get shut down before it even begins. The danger is Saturn crushing creativity with its judgment and relentless need for creating tangible use. Saturn being the whipping boy that flogs us for never being good enough or doing enough. These same qualities can allow the vision to manifest into reality if it can survive long enough to be born. Jupiter and Neptune hold the possibility of amazing vision if you can trust yourself enough to know that you will act on it. True vision can only be given where action can be trusted. Saturn Retrograde- In Sagittarius March 25th, 2016, August 13th, 2016 Jupiter Retrograde- In Virgo- January 7th, 2016, May 9th, 2016 Neptune Retrograde - 12 Pisces June 13th, 2016-Direct 07:43 pm 09 Pisces November 19th, 2016 Astrological Sentence 3- Mars conjunction with Saturn in Sagittarius both retrograde. The bus driver of the school bus of your life, Mars, hooked up with your inner school principle, Saturn, threw the bus in reverse and is running over anything that did not get finished when they came by the first time. Saturn in Sagittarius is asking all of us to redefine all aspects of authority: religious authority, political authority, personal authority, etc. Saturn in Sagittarius asks us to embrace the authority of nature as the truth, the light, and the way. Mars in Sagittarius is asking you to find your motivation by working with nature and true connection with the spirit in all life. Mars Retrograde- in Sagittarius April 17th, 2016-Direct 07:00 pm 23 Scorpio June 29th, 2016 Saturn Retrograde- In Sagittarius March 25th, 2016, August 13th, 2016 Astrological sentence 4- Mercury retrograde in Taurus coming into conjunction with the Sun and Venus also in Taurus. Says sloooow doooown!, enjoy life, quit rushing, enjoy life, have sex, eat well, enjoy life, make beauty, grow your own food and cook it really slow, count your money for the pleasure of knowing you are safe and have all that you need, spend time in nature, enjoy life. If you must continue rushing about, eating fast food, and not paying your bills, expect life to be uncooperative. Mercury Retrograde April 28th, 2016 Direct 09:15 am 14 Taurus May 22nd, 2016 Universe interpretation: Take your time to incubate this New earth. You have an important role to play. Allow yourself the time to do it well. Allow yourself time for vision quest. Step outside of time into your inner space and find the jewels of your heart then polish them. Allow yourself to feel separate so that you can then enjoy the contrast in feeling the oneness. Avoid the traps set to distract you. Allow your fear to be your teacher and guide. Not to be avoided. Know frustration to be an indicator of what you must change. Allow righteous rage to guide you to your true motivations. For specific information on how this personally effects you and the cheat sheet of what the universe is saying to you specifically, check your chart and see where these planets are sitting in transit to your birth chart. If you need help I am happy to read for you. Through Shamanic practice I have come to understand the huge impact our ancestors have on our lives.
In American “western” society this idea is foreign. We who have grown up in this environment have suckled on the bottle of belief that we are independent of all things. We are taught to believe that by our own will alone we can create whatever we want to. Those who came before or come after are irrelevant. This is an underlying belief that I have come to understand within myself, and see the effects in the world around me. It is the American Archetype, a tune that we have playing underneath political agendas, and business plans all across our beautiful country. In spite of this denial of connection, the fact remains that we are fundamentally connected. We cannot exist without being connected to all things. We are intrinsically connected to all that is but on a more personal level we are connected to our ancestors and souls linage at a molecular level. Woven into the fabric of your DNA is the imprint of your ancestors. The vibration of their triumphs, and sorrows still ring within us. If they experienced starvation, loss of a child, loss of family, sexual abuse, murder (to name a few things that our DNA thinks worthy of recording ) the result is subconscious behaviors that will play what is written in our bones. This is true of the good stuff as well: talents, kindness, success, joys are also resounding in our bones. Our ancestors who lived well and died well provide tremendous support to our lives, on all levels and in ways we cannot even fathom. We all have both. I assure you. You would not be here if this was not true. Your linage is the most personal thing about you, and is endlessly fascinating to explore. Another part of the American Archetype is that we came here from somewhere else. Before coming here our ancestors usually had a strong sense of familial pride. Often the reason for leaving was life threatening as in war, or starvation. When doing some work within my own linage I found a deep wounding and sadness when my family left Italy. Abandonment of family and home hurts even when the reason is starvation and war. My great great grandmother died with the sadness of never seeing her son again. This has informed me on a subconscious level my whole life. I never felt like I belonged where I was. This is a such a common sensation in our society that we believe it to be normal. It is not. We should be sourcing from the wisdom of the land and the wisdom of our ancestors. This is felt in the belly place and is completely lacking in most of us. So... what do you do about that? On the physical level honor your ancestors with shrines, and research on ancestor.com. This is fun, creative, and lets your mind have some fun. On the energetic and spiritual levels use shamanic journey, and ceremony to meet your ancestors. Consciously connect to where you live now. Asking the mountains, and waters of the earth to inform you. asking the ancestors of your current land to work with you in healing these hurts. Asking to be adopted by the place you now live. Also when you can, make a pilgrimage to the land your ancestors did originate from and do honoring ceremony. There are many ways to do this. Here are some links to sites that can give you ideas: Why Shamanism Now, Ancestral Medicine, or come to some workshops at the Harmony Hut. I can tell you from experience this works. The sensation of belonging and support is one of those things that can be known but not told. I highly recommend it. Know that these hurts can heal, and we have a duty to do the work it takes to make that happen. If this has resonated for you and you feel you need some guidance and assistance in ancestral healing feel free to contact me for a session or if you have any questions. As we rise from the ashes. The question on all our lips is, how? How do we rise? What form do we take in our infancy? Can we find joy in discovery? Or just sorrow at what we must leave behind. Stumbling around as the toddlers that we are in this time, we will most likely fall off the couch a few times before we figure out the right way. But the right way is for us to find. When the world turns over what was no longer is. In an acknowledgment of the fact that I offer many types of healing that are not in the conscious awareness of most people I offer this writing.
I begin with soul retrieval because most people are suffering from soul loss to some degree yet do not know anything about it, least of all that there is something that can be done. What is Soul Retrieval? Soul Retrieval is a term used to describe the process of repairing the Soul after any type of Soul Loss. Soul Loss is a spilling of your life force essence. Think of yourself as a glass of water that can easily spill. As you go through life you spill, a little here, a little there, and sometimes a lot all at once. Soul Retrieval is cleaning up the spills. Soul Retrieval is one of the Shaman’s tools. It is understood that as we go through life there will be soul fragmentation. It is a natural response to trauma. Soul Retrieval is practiced in some form in all indigenous shamanic societies and has been practiced in many forms in many cultures for thousands of years. In our society, we often deny such things exist. Soul Loss may not consciously be part of our society, yet is a deeply explored theme in much of our art and literature, the products of our collective unconscious. How many pop songs are about giving or taking part of me? How many paintings depicting people with their hearts’ in the wrong place? We have many common references to the phenomena such as; "I feel like there is a hole in my heart", "He has a piece of me", and "She still has me even though she is dead". An abundance of poetry, prose, and movies all revolve around this theme. Most people in our society suffer from some amount of Soul Loss at one time or another. There is nothing shameful, unnatural, or uncommon about it. Symptoms of Soul Loss may include: Depression Anxieties Feeling not fully here Feeling disconnected Severe Anger or Confusion Chronic pain Chronic illness Memory loss Phobias Types of Soul Loss as I see them: The Big Chunk - this is caused by a one time traumatic event. The Small Shards - this is caused by an on going traumatic situation in the home, at work, or school. Soul Theft - this is when another person takes part of you on purpose (usually on a subconscious level) to fill a void in themselves. The Soul Scar - this is caused by trauma in a past life that has carried over into this one. Informing fear patterns on a subconscious level. These can lead to phobias. The important thing to understand is that it is normal and healthy to fragment. It is the way of insuring that at a moment of great pain, we can minimize the damage, protect ourselves and survive. There is a natural resetting that would take place if we lived in close relationship to the Earth. If we lived in a way that was in harmony with the Earth, our Soul would naturally return after the danger or trauma had passed. However, in this time and space we need help to make that natural resetting happen. There is no need to suffer from it. I am here to let you know that there is something that you can do about it. It is my honor to offer you the opportunity for your wholeness. If this has resonated as true for you contact me. Please take this moment to act towards your healing. Love of creation lifted me. I am a heart with wings. The wind set me free. I am in your every cell. The imprint of the universe singing, It is all so much fun. Finding my way in and out of the scars of the earth. Creating temples of love to nature in each wound. Wounds echoed within me. Praying daily to renew all that is. |
