We have reached the point of new beginnings in the year, the month, and the 2000 year cycles.
So we will begin again. Exploring the fundamentals of how to read an astrological chart. Emphasizing the underlying meaning of the 2 dimensional symbolic language that is the sheet music for the multidimensional universe. We will cover the ABC’s and 123’s of astrology.
This is the perfect class to step in if you are a beginner. It is also a time for a deepening understanding of the fundamental principles of Astrology.

Astrological Adventures - Practical Astrology
Saturday November 7, 2015 - 1pm-3:30p RSVP cost is a sliding scale of $20-$30 This month we will explore the daily, monthly, and yearly cycles of our lives: solstice, equinox, eclipse cycles, moon phases, etc. We will explore the elemental balance of moon signs and harnessing that power in a practical way for gardening, health, and business. Looking at your chart to find how these cycles effect you personally and exploring how to use that information to the most benefit. Also exploring the cycles and ways of observing them. We meet once a month to explore our place in the universe. This class emphasizes personal experience of the energy of the universe through: shamanic journey, astro drama, and energetic connection to the planetary bodies. Each month we choose a different aspect, planetary body, or celestial cycle to explore. All are welcome even if you have no experience with astrology or journey. The only requirement is curiosity. Building an Earth Oven
Sunday, May 17th 4pm-7pm

We did not get the oven built in the first workshop so you get another chance to learn to work with earth to create beautiful architecture. We will focus on building the Horno (Earthen Oven) which includes several types of mud building techniques. We will also cover the basics of how to cook in one.
Come prepared to get really dirty and to have a lot of fun. This is a hands on experience.
Bring a hat and work gloves.
Taught by Josephine Thomason who has been masterfully creating with mud and straw for over 16 Years. Josephine is a highly experienced natural building and permaculture instructor who has been teaching classes since 1995 with the Sonoran Permaculture Guild.

Natural Building Extravaganza
Saturday, April 18 9am-5pm cost $50 We will spend the day exploring and creating with natural building materials including mud, straw, and recyclables. We will learn foundation essentials for a variety of structures and we will begin the process of building an outdoor kitchen, bench, and walled area for the Casitas Contentas. We will also build a Horno (earth oven for wood fires) and straw build a bench that incorporates a glass bottle wall window. This workshop is for beginners and enthusiasts and will cover the basics of building with strawbale, cobb and other natural and recycled materials. Come prepared to get really dirty and to have a lot of fun. This is a hands on experience. Bring a hat and work gloves. Please bring your lunch and snacks. There is a refrigerator available. Astrological Journeys
Exploring Scorpio, Pluto, and the 12 Houses Taught by Josephine Thomason November 1, 2014 1:00 - 4:00pm Suggested donation $20 Open to anyone interested in the language of the universe. We will meet once a month and explore the signs and planets that rule that month. Always open to new students. This month we will explore the twelve houses. looking at the energy each house holds. We will Journey to Scorpio and Pluto to come to understanding of how this area impacts us personally. In this class we will explore the multi-faceted universe of astrology including foundational information, interpretation, expertise coaching and guided journeying. Every participant will encounter each of the astrological archetypes as they relate to you through the personal experience of shamanic journey. Discover, learn, and practice a variety of new techniques to deepen intuition, to listen to what Nature is saying, and to clearly interpret messages received.
Examine profound tools rooted in the Laws of Nature, such as sacred architecture.
Dissolve obstacles & manifest highly beneficial opportunities for all.
Cultivate the ability to leap boldly into new projects before it is “all figured out.”
Apply these new skills to home, garden, family, relationships, career and professional projects, and both short and long-term goals in all areas of life!
During this series, we will practice co-creating by each choosing a small personal project, & we will explore, discuss, and share our experiences as we deepen our awareness skills. Together, we can cooperate with nature to co-create a world of beauty, love, & harmony!

In 2004, she was introduced to Michelle Wright’s methods and began her inspired path of co-creating with Nature--even co-creatively building a gorgeous hexagon-shaped art studio. She enjoys sharing what she has learned with others. The possibilities are unlimited!

This months offering for the bringing spirit into matter class is an exploration of yourself. Getting to know yourself as a spiritual, energetic, and physical being.
We will explore through physical movement, breath work, and guided meditation/journey.
You will document what you find to begin a self portrait to be a reminder of the essence of you.
This class is open to anyone who would like to explore their creativity through movement, meditation, and journey.
Please bring a notebook and sketching materials.
