How can that be?

In the face of rational logical scientific thinking, how can you believe in astrology?  
This question is asked in many forms, sometimes not uttered out loud.  Just the feeling of judgement from the seething atheist, scientist in the room.  Most of us have an inner one of these, even if we do not outwardly identify as one.

To begin, I do not "believe" in astrology, it is a knowing, based on years of study and observation and direct experience.  

Astrology is the first science.  Astronomy and astrology were not separate. The study of the heavenly body's and the rhythm of the yearly cycles.  This study was based in observation of above and below watching the reflection of the divine forces in the physical world.  The beginnings of astrology is based in planetary planting.  The effect of the moon sign on the success of crops.  The proper season and timing to plant in.  This was key to our survival and evolution.  This is where it began.

How do you get an astrological interpretation?  A fabulous combination of physical observation, sociological study, physiological evaluation, shamanic journey, and talking directly to the spiritual aspects of the planetary bodies, asking how they crystallized within the individual.

 This observation is from the point of view of the the observer, aka astrologer, who has their point of view is within a cultural time and place.  All society's have some form of astrology that have their cultural point of view all over it.  
Which means it is important to use your discernment and free will when receiving astrological interpretation.  There is no need for blind faith.  You want to receive the interpretation as a remembering.  No astrologer is going to know you better than you.  The role of astrologer is interpreter of the music of the spheres.  Interpreter means they have their filter. The influence of the planets are influences, what you do with them is up to your free will.

We live during a time of rapid expansion of understanding and discovery of "new" planetary body's, planets, asteroids, planetoids, points and calculations.  All of which have an astrological interpretation.  Our entire solar system is moving into a new quadrant of the universe! What an amazing time to be an astrologer.

Astrology brings together psychology, astronomy, and spirituality to find the cheat sheet to the path of the souls journey.  
How can that be?  
My short answer is simply that the entire universe is held in motion by divine forces that hold the sacred architectural building blocks of reality with grace and ease.  This force goes by a thousand names yet remains unnameable.  It's reflection can be seen in the "coincidences"  that are in every aspect of the universe.   
If your inner seething atheist, scientist must argue, please do the research first so we can have an informed debate. Otherwise it is not even an interesting conversation.  By all means prove me wrong.   When you cannot you might find yourself becoming an astrologer.
