There once were three surfers who came to the ocean of time to surf.   
   The first surfer saw a beautiful place way out on the horizon.  An idyllic land with lots of food and a peace and prosperity.  This surfer wanted o get there Now!  So ignoring all else she began to paddle straight towards this vision. she got caught in a current going the opposite direction.  pummeled and nearly drowned.  She eventually found herself on the shore crying out to the vision of what she could see but not achieve.
   The second surfer was so full of fear he stayed in the one area, staying with what is known he would not go passed where he had been before.  This surfer got very angry at every rock in the way of “his” surf. Screaming at the waves to bend to his will.  Arguing with the currents to go a different direction.  In the end he was exactly where he began angry and scared.
   The third surfer spent a lot of time up on a cliff studying the currents.  Where and when the waves were strongest, the direction the currents were headed. She also saw that beautiful land full of promise.  Once she entered the water She waited belly on her board for the wave to rise and take her where she needed to go.  Using effort only to get into the currents and in alignment with the waves.  At first it seemed that she was being sucked backwards away from her goal, yet she knew it was just the rising of the ocean.  She surrendered to the current making adjustments in alignment until it began to push forward.  Then she hopped up with deep inner balance and connection to every drop within the wave she road it to the next wave, and the next.   Enjoying the wipe outs when they came, but always returning to her board and direction.  It took many waves to arrive at the shore of the new land.

There truly has never been a time like this on the face of this planet.  It is no wonder we all feel so confused as to what to do.  We live in a century of change.  100 Years is nothing in the ocean of time.  Industrial revolution is still in its infancy.  An infancy that has made a huge mess.  It is time to mature our practices of production to be in alignment with the universal natural laws.   The abuse of the earth and her people in the name of profit is at the core of all struggles that are currently playing out.
The Technological revolution has just been born.  We are struggling to evolve so quickly into communications ability that have never existed before.   It is no wonder that we are failing to use this powerful tool wisely.

I find myself returning to the language of astrology to help me have that bigger vision that is needed now.  Seeing the deeper currents of this next great age.  The unveiling of the Energies of Eris, and Sedna the solar systems newest Planetoids.   Both point to a shift in conciseness that is playing out all around us and through us.
What I observe in the language of the universe is that we are being  asked 300 different ways to shift and transform our foundations of reality.  we should not be surprised that this is not a graceful transition.  The powers that be are truly terrified of this transition, and for good reason.  Their reality will truly no longer exist.  Of course "they" are we at the core.  No matter how separate we think we might be, It is not true, and never has been.  We must sit within the paradox of the fact that when we protest environmental destruction we are protesting the foundation of or economic system.  Our survival depends on a new vision of economics based in sustainable practice.
 
In order to make movement we must first observe the container that we are in.  To understand the state of the United States we need to back up so we can observe the currents.  

Looking All the way back at the moment of the declaration of independence this birth chart of this country was born out of revolution into a land that holds the vibration of clear vision and natural wealth.  This birth chart of 1776 was a time before the discovery of the outer planets Neptune, Uranus, Pluto. Not to mention the asteroids, planetoids, and points that we can read now that easily give a picture of the subconscious.  Meaning this was a time before the subconscious was part of waking life.  Reading the chart with these planets easily points out our collective shadow.  But we must keep in mind that our perspective is from our time now.  
This chart shows the container of our government to be an adventuresome idealist that is motivated by  the new and interesting ways of creating a utopian society.  The shadow elements shown clearly by the outer planets.  Pluto in the second house in Capricorn and Saturn in the tenth  speak of the patriarchy and use and abuse of natural resources and people that is so much a part of our society it was rendered  invisible because of its normalcy.  Lilith conjunct Neptune on the Mid-haven shows religious freedom to be at the forefront of thought yet full of the hypocrisy of religious suppression of the feminine.  

As we take this chart forward to the transits acting on it we can see some huge currents of change.

Pluto Return - 248 year orbit of the earth
Our country is in the process of its first Pluto return.  This is a cycle of Pluto returning to the original position in the country chart.  Pluto is the planet of transformation of power. With it returning to its natal position we are given a opportunity to redefine power and wealth.   If we view this time as the opportunity that it is the unveiling of the deep racism and sexism that is currently on display and threatening to take over this country is actually an opportunity to truly address these issues.  an Unveiling of what is hidden in the shadow, Bring it forward for transformation.

This is the universe telling our country to grow up.  It is a collective maturity for taking responsibility for our actions.  It is up to us to accept this gracefully and say yes to our souls journey.

This is a signature of revolution pure and simple.  Asking that our past come current and we make true and lasting change.  I prefer to believe that this can be a nonviolent revolution of spiritual and economic change.  The Evolution within Revolution.  Of course my preference is not necessarily what is going to go down.

Astrological Adventures - Understanding the Time Spirits

Do not give them your power.  Give the energy of your rage to yourself to catalyze change.  The power behind righteous rage is pure enlightened energy that pierces illusion.   Allow your rage to motivate your enlightenment and your actions based in pure discernment of truth.  The universal truths, not personal belief.  Peer straight into this shadow and do not look away.  Do not miss this opportunity. This is no time for spiritual bypass.   I call to all the spiritual warriors to take this time to find your center and call all your will and soul that has fragmented in the shock of this time.  Telling it firmly to return, not because this has ever been a safe place to be, but because we must be whole in order to cut through this intrusion.  

A suggested action.  
Set and intent that all the energy you are going to release be collected in front of you: into a bowl or stone that helps with focus.
Allow your anger, sadness, rage, whatever you are feeling to come to the surface.  
Screaming, crying, shaking, and yelling are required actions.  Allow it up and out until you are completely drained of this energy.  
Sit or lie quietly and peer into it.  
Ask this energy to reveal itself to you.  Ask what is needed.  What action do you need to take to be in alignment with your souls journey to play your part in this time of turning over.  Ask any questions that come to mind.  Hear the answers.
Allow yourself to act upon what you hear.
Ask this energy to transform into pure motivation for that purpose.  Bring it back in to you as that pure energy.
